The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Liberate Ideas, Inc., have formed a unique collaboration to optimize the impact of the Physician Assistant-patient interaction, designed to advance the educational experience and overcome the limitations of traditional patient communications through the use of Liberate Health by PAs across the United States.
Founded in 1968, the American Academy of Physician Assistants is the national professional society for physician assistants. It represents a profession of more than 93,000 certified PAs across all medical and surgical specialties in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the majority of the U.S. territories and within the uniformed services.
The program is designed as a multi-sponsored solution, providing the teaching assets and adherence programs of all sponsors to create an aggregated content resource for PAs and patients. Sponsors will add value to the PA-patient interaction by providing patient education content.
Our partnership goals focus on facilitating better communication and more thorough understanding of the healthcare pathway by the patient during and after clinic visits. As the most advanced patient education platform available today, Liberate Health, in the hands of PAs can boost patient comprehension and improve adherence by extending the PA interaction post-visit.
The rollout of Liberate Health to PAs began in January, 2014 and PA’s are reporting significant increases in patient satisfaction.
